Design of a shared meeting room

For the design of a shared meeting room in an office in Vienna’s first district, the floor plan was first adapted to the users’ needs. In collaboration with Galerie Kandlhofer, works by artists Donna Huanca and James English Leary were selected. A bespoke piece of bar furniture was conceived for the space, paying homage to the designs of Dagobert Peche (Wiener Werkstätte). The piece features an all-around grooved structure resting on a brass frame. Its clean, curtain-like appearance is accentuated by a concealed handle groove. The surface is finished in high-gloss lacquer, while a lacquered glass top adds refinement and elegance.
