St. Anton am ARLBERG, ART DESIGN AND ADVISORY

Hotel Maiensee is located in the Austrian Alps and is an ideal base for skiing and snowboarding, as it is right next to the chairlift and the ski slope. The family business has grown with the cozy Tirolerstube, the open fireplace, from tradition as well as from the passion for the surrounding nature. In commission with Sibylle Schaschl and the Hotel Maiensee were curated for selected rooms, artworks by Hong Zeiss.

The Granite Drawing Series with black, condensed oil paint, wax and pigment eludes metaphorical or emotional associations, yet manifests the notions of time, material and process that characterize his work.
